Hey, Why don't you sleep?
Are you coming?
This is not a midnight conversation between two passionate lovers, but it's a love affair between a boy and a girl who were just enrolled in college. Society is being open-minded these days and it should be. Time has changed drastically. It's not in our reach, never was and never it will be. It's dynamic, and this is the deadly truth. And I have something as precise as this; here people aren't so humane in nature and the relationships are being hogwash nowadays. My roomie, Subash, was covertly chatting with his new Facebook friend whom he just met yesterday. As he was always very open with me, I was wondering why would he be texting someone so privately? And why was he blushing so much? I was thinking about it and suddenly "Where is the bike key?", he asked. Why do you need it? Why are you acting so weird today?... I added.
He was rushed up and looked seriously too, so I gave him the key. He didn't say a word and left. I was very much confused because of his behavior. I didn't know where he was going. I waited for some hour, but he was not back so I was worried and then I found his laptop open, Facebook logged in. I checked his inbox and I saw his messages with a very young and attractive lady, Sunita. She was very striking and enticing. She was the one who asked Subash to come over.
Everyone has the RIGHTS to love someone.
Everyone has the RIGHTS to fall in love.
Let's say "LOVE RIGHTS" for a while.
But, it's very obvious that anything that falls, breaks. Meaning, love is natural and it just happens suddenly, no any pressure exists here. So, if it's done on purpose, then, one that falls will hardly get up. Once Sunita updated her status, 'feeling sad' followed by 'you had someone else in your heart, I was like WHAT'S happening in the name of love. I was happy and sad at the same time. 'Love these days', I said to myself. And something that I read a few days back stuck in my mind that was 'The Bachelors are destroyed by love and the married ones by absence of loved ones'. They are the one who are running after lust and these are the reasons why a true lover rarely found. It's not hard to find someone who tells you they love you. But it's hard to find someone who actually means it. And once found, you will never stop falling in love with the same person again and again. I wanted to comment on her status, but I stopped. I wondered if wanting just to sleep with someone was as easy as wanting to wake up next to them every morning. A love ringtone rings on Sailesh's mobile. It woke me up. Sailesh is my best buddy. Currently, I'm staying in Pokhara. It's been almost a year to this city.
I just realized it's almost the same time I spent in my village. I am from a rural place in the Parbat district. My village, where I was born, will always be in my soft corner of my heart, Well, who doesn't. I found my village and this city very clashing. This city looks crowded, but, there's a huge difference between people here, which is exactly opposite in context to my village. The buildings here are very big and strong but the connection between the people is as fragile as glass. It's very delicate. Though the houses in my village are frail like a bubble, the relation between the people is very strong and enduring. Lovers like Romeo and Juliet. This thought struck my mind. I started fantasizing about my village. Mobile ranged. I checked. It was Sunil who was a famous comedian in Pokhara. He asked if I would join him in Dohori Saanjh later tonight. I said NO. Not today. He was annoyed. I could hear him lashing out. He was annoyed and he declined the call. Keep going and life will teach you the things you will realize only when you are deserted, all alone, on your own. I wanted to say this to him at that exact moment. But never did.
Later he came into my room. It was obvious that a group of boys will somehow talk about girls. So did we. He said he was going to Dohori Saanjh with Aastha, a nurse currently working in Bheri Zonal Hospital, Nepalgunj. Who is she? I asked him. She is from Dharan. Though she is a girl of the lower caste, she is very alluring and attractive; he added. I nodded. He kept going. These girls from the upper caste could never match her beauty. Anyone will fall for her in an instant. She is no less than any Bollywood actress. He was not stopping and then I stopped him with my questions. A lower-caste girl can't be beautiful? Why are you talking like only the girls from the upper caste are supposed to be beautiful? How can you define one's beauty, Comparing with the other? Bla bla bla bla a long lecture on the topic. He was shocked. He asked if something has happened. I said your perception of beauty is so annoying. Thoughts were pouring into my head. These high societies are everything wrong. And the intellects are the ones who can destroy this thing.
The ones who are making this world a better place are not the so-called higher-class people. There aren't high and low class people, it's made by humans so-called powersome of the Universe where they rule forgetting about other.
